Position Title: Account Executive

Region: Minnesota

Location: St. Cloud

Department: Minnesota Sales

Responsible for the origination of new business custo mers and expanding the telecommunications product mix with existing custo mers.  Solicits business custo mers through various external contacts; develops territory or business base to maximize new custo mers and/or expand product mix offered to existing custo mers.  Maintains positive client relations with existing custo mers through continuous contact; evaluates on-going telecommunications needs.  Performs other related duties or projects, as assigned.

Bachelors degree in Business or Finance or a related field, or the equivalent in training and experience.  Demonstrated experience (2-3 years) in professional sales and marketing, specifically selling technical services, indicating an ability to prospect new accounts and manage existing accounts.  Exposure to the telecommunications industry through direct or indirect work experience.  Basic knowledge of local exchange, long distance and internet markets.  Ability to make sales presentations to small and large sized groups.  Strong analytical, ti me manage ment, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills.  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  Computer skills, including spreadsheets, presentation and word processing programs.
